dvds!

On our WINDOW-shopping excursion to the Westfield Whitford City shopping mall (somewhere in the northern suburb) earlier today -- since it was such a lovely day for a drive --not only we were rewarded with finding a great food court -- they have SO MANY different food stores there, in one decently-laid-out eating space, a rarities at least here in Perth, -- but we had also succumbed ourselves in some impulsive shopping.

Random Food Place finding + impulsive shopping = NOT a healthy combination!

Anyway, at this HUGE shopping mall, we found out that they also have the JB Hi-Fi Store, where loads of CDs, DVDs, could be found at sometimes a very good bargain prices.

So I thought, Hey they got one JB Hi-Fi here too! No wonder all these suburban folks couldn't be bothered to go to the city when all sorts of shops could be found here. Meh. Why don't we have a quick check inside JB Hi-Fi, just before we leave dear? Big mistake that one.

Walking in empty-handed, when we walked out, we got ourselves a few copy of DVDs:

• Pedro Almodóvar's All About My Mother [Todo Sobre Mi Madre]
• The Third Man (featuring Orson Welles), a classic b&w film
• The Shrek Collection DVD Box Set (consisting of Shrek and Shrek 2)

I know. So much for our strong-willed persona. *cries in shame* Window-shop my ass.

At least we got them at a good bargain price, so it wasn't too bad.
Also, we ARE slowly building up our home DVDs collection, so that's good too I guess.
Besides, Neil has been wanting to buy them Shrek DVDs for ages, and now that we got them, I should probably start think of something else to buy him for his Christmas gift this year..
