The table's here
The delivery guys from Monro arrived at our place just now, slightly later than scheduled. But it doesn't seem to matter because I was so happy expecting the arrivals of out dining sets.
Upon arrival I noticed that there was some defects on the table legs, and further discussion with the sales girl revealed it was NOT what we were promised in the first place.
Apparently, they do not have the table we wanted in stock, therefore they sent us the item on display from their store!
NOT happy, Jan!
However, we've agreed and arranged that they are going to replace the table which had been delivered to our house with a new one, once their new stocks arrive (in 10-12 weeks time). And in the mean time, they'll let us keep the current table for us to use.
Well, at least the Dining room won't be left empty again, and we have a proper table for our guests to have dinner on!

As per your question, unlike HARVEY NORMAN which covers everything from indoor/outdoor furniture (their style range from 'normal' -- like the ones you see from Courts mammoth -- to reasonably current), electrical appliances, kitchen appliances, computer goods and software, etc; MONRO on the other hand specialises in more upmarket design in Livingroom furniture (Sofa, Coffee tables, TV console, etc), Dining sets, Bedroom furniture (Bed, etc), some trendy lighting fixtures, and also Outdoor furniture too.
Hence their name: Monro Sofa+Bed+Table
Monro's prices are slightly higher, but that's only because of their target market. That doesn't mean you can't find good items elsewhere. Just gotta have a prying open eyes, regular window shopping, and watch out for those annual SALE offer!
